Where we started

The whole project is built over a swamp, which is by itself a technical challenge. A special platform of rocks was created with the 24 hour use of water pumps to absorb waters. Special insulations where meticulously placed. The construction took place over this platform.

The owners wanted a fully functional house with integrated technology yet simple and matching the surrounding environment. The house should reflect the sporty & unpretentious character of the owners… “No excessive luxuries – just the comforts we wish to enjoy in life”!

Our Approach

Villa Artemis is a 600 m2 villa with pool, jacuzzi, gym, home cinema, tennis & basketball courts, herb & vegetables biogarden, helicopter base.

We named this Villa Renovation project Artemis inspired by the character power of the owners. In Greek Mythology, Artemis is the Godess of Hunt and Nature. A free spirited, athletic godess that never seizes to challenge herself physically and mentally. A restless winner.

A spacious living room with lots of sofas, wide windows & open plan kitchen was designed to face the pool and garden area. Master bedroom with en suite Jacuzzi and walk in wardrobe, guest bedrooms specially designed with clever separating doors that can be used as guest apartments isolated from the rest of the house, childrens play & learn room.

The pool was designed and constructed “sur mesure” with Jacuzzi area, adverse water current production, automatic cover hood , well organized engine room for easy control and good maintenance.

The only demand made was that the project should be finished in 9 months – in time for the owner’s birthday party with friends from all over the world. We took the challenge and delivered in time, in budget and in full operational capacity.
